Kühlboxen üblicher Bauart weisen einen Behälter für die Aufnahme des Kühlgutes auf. Der Behälter ist mit einem Deckel verschlossen. Solche Kühlboxen haben einen Inhalt von bis zu 101 und werden zum Kühlen von verschiedenartigstem Kühlgut verwendet.
