Introduction:

In practice, it was not always possible to provide a baby bed for a child on holiday trips.

Commercially available children's beds can be bulky, unsafe and/or heavy, so that a children's bed cannot always be transported or taken along in a car or on an airplane. The low weight, small size and easy handling, like that of a commercially available air mattress, mean that the inflatable baby bed can be taken along on any trip, including flights.

In addition, the child is kept safe from accidents as the material protects against bumps, bruises and abrasions, among other things.

Advantages over standard children's/baby beds:

Commercially available children's beds have negative properties for babies and children. Risk of injury, bulkiness, hygiene, short lifespan, recyclability, complicated handling, etc., which are completely or partially eliminated with the above-mentioned product. If all the air is let out of the bed, the bed can be folded up into a small package.

If, however, the air is released from the attachment (2), the base mattress (1) can be turned over and used as a bed or changing mattress.

If the bed becomes dirty, it can be easily cleaned and is therefore more hygienic than textile products. The attachment (2) can be made of transparent PVC film to ensure eye contact between the carer and the child.

The inflatable baby bed essentially consists of a base/basic mattress (1) and an attachment (2) made of the same or a similar material. The base mattress (1) and the attachment (2) are to be filled separately with ambient air using inflation valves (3).

The number (5) represents the room that is available for the child’s use.

Air-permeable nets (4) embedded in the attachment (2) enable sufficient ventilation of the interior where the child/baby can stay (nitrogen enrichment is avoided).

"Tabs" or "pockets" (6) on the base mattress or walls possibly with fastening holes, can provide additional stability and safety so that it is impossible for the bed to tip over. A chair, for example, can be placed on the tabs. Sand or water can be filled into the "pockets" if necessary to increase the weight of the bed and thus its stability.

The claim for protection is based on the property that the entire cot can be inflated with ambient air. 2. When not inflated, the bed can be folded into a small package 3. The child's bed consists of a base mattress and the top or side walls. The side walls are directly connected to the base mattress; they either have direct contact with the floor or rest on the base mattress. 4. The base mattress and top/walls can take on almost any geometric shape (circle, rectangle, square, etc.). Depending on the geometric shape of the bed, as described above, we speak of one wall or several walls. Babies or children can stay inside the bed 5. Additional "tabs" with holes or "pockets" on the base mattress or the walls can provide additional side or tip-over stability. A chair can be placed on the tabs, for example. "Pockets" that can be filled with sand or water are also conceivable here to increase the weight of the bed and thus its stability. 6. The filling valves for the individual air chambers have a high tensile strength. 9.
