Bekanntlich bietet die Herstellung geschlossener explosionssicherer Schmelzpatronen für größere Ströme und Spannungen außerordentliche praktische Schwierigkeiten, und. es ist bisher nicht gelungen, derartige Sicherungen über etwa 500 Volt und 200 Ampere zu bauen. Bei größeren Stromstärken hat man sich daher dadurch geholfen, daß man mehrere Patronen einer bewährten Bauart für kleinere Stromstärken parallel schaltete.
