Die bisherigen Schuhfesthaltevorrichtungen für Holzschuhuberholmaschinen sind zwar für verschiedene Größen der Holzschuhe einstellbar, setzen aber die Urform des Holzschuhes voraus, nämlich die mit geraden Absätzen. In neuerer Zeit ist man dazu übergegangen, die Holzschuhe mit geschweiften Absätzen und anderen Verschönerungen zu versehen, und für diese Art Holzschuhe ist die bisherige Vorrichtung schlecht oder gar nicht zu verwenden. Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun eine sogenannte Wechselklaue, die einen solchen Wechsel in der Stellung ihrer Teile und eine derartige Form der Klemmbacken besitzt, daß jeder Absatz und Sohle beliebiger Gestalt sicher festgehalten wird.

Auf einer Schiene α ist die Sohlenstütze b fest angeordnet. Sie hat einen höher und tiefer einstellbaren Kopf c, der etwas gelenkig gelagert ist und an seiner Oberfläche mit einigen Stiften versehen ist, die sich in die Holzsohle eindrücken und dieselbe nach unten und seitwärts an einer Verschiebung hindern. Auf der Schiene α ist ferner das Lagerstück β verschiebbar angeordnet, aber so, daß es näher oder ferner von der Sohlenstütze b fest eingestellt werden kann. Dieses Lagerstück e trägt auf den beiden Achsen f je einen Winkelhebel g. An dem schräg gerichteten Hebelarm hat jeder Winkelhebel g eine Ausladung i, die parallel zur Drehachse verläuft. Auf diesen beiden Ausladungen i drückt ein Querstück k, das durch eine Mutter I bewegt wird, deren Spindel in dem hinteren Ende des Lagerstückes e ihren Sitz und Stütze hat. Um die Klaue bei dem Rückschrauben der Mutter I sich selbst öffnen zu lassen, werden an geeigneter Stelle Schrauben, Federn o. dgl. vorgesehen. Der aufrechte Arm des Winkelhebels g trägt einen auf und ab verstellbaren Kopf m, der durch eine Druckschraube derart festgestellt wird, daß er unter hinreichendem Kraftaufwand, sich drehen läßt. An diesem Kopfe m jedes der beiden Hebelarme g werden die dazugehörigen Klemmbacken η angebracht. Jede Klemmbacke ist gegabelt (Fig. 3) und am vorderen Kopfe wulstig ausgebildet, so daß sie sich an die verschiedenen Absatzformen rechts und links sicher anlegt. Um den Ausschlag des Hebels g bei den verschiedenen Absatzbreiten nicht zu groß nehmen zu müssen, sind die gegabelten Hinterenden der Klemmbacken η je mit zwei oder drei Bohrungen 0 versehen, die auf entsprechende Bohrungen im Kopf m eingestellt werden können und dann durch einen durchgesteckten Bolzen p in ihrer Lage gehalten werden.Fig. 2 is a front view,
