Ein Speziell entwickelter und mitdrehender Gegenkonus, arretiert austragsseitig auf der Schneckenwelle, erlaubt -die reproduzierbare Einstellung der gewünschten Verdichtung. Die flüssigen Anteile laufen im konischen Trogteil über Schwerkraft ab und können somit sehr sortenrein vom Filterkuchen getrennt werden. Durch die besondere Entwicklung der Innengeometrie des Troges, mit innen angeordneten Gegenbrechleisten, wird eine Vorzerkleinerung-u. Vermischungsfunktion erreicht. Im konischen Trogaustragsbereich unterstützen auf der Schneckenwelle angeordnete Vorschubflügel den Materialtransport und verhindern unerwünschte Drehbewegungen des Filterkuchens. Der Gegenkonus hat durch aufmontierbare Abstreifer folgende Zusatzfunktion.
