Tables of a standard design are determined by their use as a desk, work table, dining table, make-up table, kitchen table or side table. Due to the fixed design of the usable area, they take up a fixed basic volume in the room and are difficult to change in their handling.

The traditional design of tables with a horizontal table top and vertical table legs wastes valuable storage space for various types of utensils underneath the table top. The design of the tables in the usual style with rigid table legs prevents a quick, problem-free change of location. This has a negative effect on the change in use and the spatial situation.

Today's living space situation and the dissolution of traditional room layouts (living room, dining room, work room, bedroom) requires a change in furniture design. Multiple uses and easy changeability are crucial in today's fast-moving world. Tight living space makes it necessary to have well-organized, well-designed storage for utensils.

These problems are solved with the features listed in claims 1 and 2 (all-purpose table, drawer element).

The invention ensures that the base of the table is flexible and can be adapted to the respective requirements and needs.

The grand body of the furniture measures just 770 mm x 380 mm x 1000 mm. Furniture of this size can be easily moved around the room and put to one side. The castors on which this drawer element is attached increase the flexibility of the furniture. The drawers are always available, so that the furniture can also be used as a sideboard or chest of drawers.

The four drawers (from top to bottom) with the size of: 50 mm x 248 mm x 900 mm, 111 mm x 248 mm x 900 mm, 162 mm x 248 mm x 900 mm, 217 mm x 248 mm x 900 mm represent a large storage space that can be used in a variety of ways. If it is a desk, the top drawer can be used for pens, rulers, calculators, etc., the second for index cards (A6), the third for larger items and the fourth for a hanging file. If it is a dining table, the top drawer can be used for cutlery, the second for napkins, the others for larger items such as glasses, etc. The roller rails on the drawers allow the compartments to be opened and closed easily and without any problems, even when they are heavily loaded. The full extension guarantees the best possible overview and accessibility of the items.

The wing surfaces attached to the drawer element can be folded up independently of one another and secured using the extension feet. This creates a usable area of either 1080 mm x 1000 mm or 1730 mm x 1000 mm. If the all-purpose table is to be used as a desk, large paper formats can also be processed, for example, or two worktops can be used independently of one another (e.g. computer operation on one side). The size of the dining table can be adjusted to the number of guests.

This flexibility makes it possible to use a large area even in smaller rooms if necessary, without extensive conversions being necessary.

Claims (2)

Protection claims 1. All-purpose table characterized, that the base of the table is flexible. Two usable surfaces are attached to a drawer element (380 mm x 1000 mm) using separate hinges. By folding up the usable surfaces and securing them with extension feet, the table can be used in a size of 1080 mm x 1000 mm (with one partial surface folded up) or in a size of 1730 mm x 1000 mm (with both partial surfaces folded up). 2. Drawer element according to claim 1 characterized, that the drawer element, consisting of four drawers, is designed to extend over the full depth of the table (1000 mm) on roller rails. The drawer element is equipped with four castors, which allow the table to be moved flexibly when the usable surfaces are folded down.
