Eine erfindungsgemäße Baum- und Gartenschere umfaßt somit ein Paar Backen bzw. Es wird nun auf die Zeichnung Bezug genommen. Die dort dargestellte Baumschere umfaßt ein Paar Backen 10, ein Paar Handgriffe 20 und ein Paar Winkeleinstellmechanismen 30, die zwischen den Backen 10 und den Handgriffen 20 angeordnet sind. Die Mechanismen 30 enthalten jeweils eine an den Handgriffen 20 befestigte Stange 31 mit einem Schlitz 311. In der Stange 31 ist ein Hohlraum 3110 gebildet und steht mit dem Schlitz 311 in Verbindung. Im Hohlraum 3110 sind eine Feder 312 und eine Klinke 313 aufgenommen. In der Stange 31 ist ein Schraubloch 3111 gebildet und schneidet sich mit dem Hohlraum 3110, um mit einem Bolzen 314 in Eingriff zu treten. Der Bolzen 314 kann mit der Klinke 313 in Eingriff treten, um zu verhindern, daß die Klinke 313 von der Stange 31 außer Eingriff tritt. Zwei Ansatzstücke 3 2 sind an den Backen 10 befestigt und mittels Bolzen 322 mit den Stangen 31 schwenkbar verbunden. 1. Tree shears with a pair of jaws (10), a pair of extensions (32) attached to the jaws (10) and each containing a number of teeth (321), a pair of handles (20), a pair of rods (31) attached to the handles (20) and pivotally connected to the extensions (32), the rods (31) each containing a cavity (3110), and a spring (312) received in the cavity (3110) and a pawl (313), the pawl (313) engaging one of the teeth (321) when the rod (31) is rotated with respect to the extensions (32).
