Advantages achieved: The advantages achieved with the invention consist in particular in the fact that the free space above dining tables, office tables and changing tables is utilized { Figure 1 No. 1 ).

The best position for the over-table can be achieved by adjusting the height ( Figure 1 No. 2 ). The smoke development above the dining and office tables is significantly reduced by the integrated exhaust air extraction, without causing any disturbing noise. The over-table top is hollow ( Figure 1 No. 3 ) and is provided with a ventilation grille { Figure 1 No. 4 ). The smoke is therefore extracted at the "point of origin" and is achieved via a hollow over-table bracket ( Figure 1 No. 5) and a hollow beam or pipe { Figure 2 No. 1 ) - ideal for wooden ceilings - on the ceiling using an exhaust fan { Figure 2 No. 2 ) to the outside or into an exhaust air chimney { Figure 2 No. 3 ). The use of the over-table is also advantageous for billiards and gaming tables.

The over-table not only saves space, but is also important for non-smokers and small children, as it reduces the amount of smoke in the room to a minimum. In addition, painting work is required at much longer intervals. Clothes and curtains are largely spared from tar and nicotine!

Further development of the invention: An advantageous development of the invention is specified in claims 1 and 2. It consists in the fact that the table can be made in any shape, size, color and material (wood, glass, plastic and metal).
