Description
The invention relates to a method and arrangement for eliminating disruptive factors in the Early detection of mine fires by measuring the CO content in the weather stream.
Die Früherkennung von Grubenbränden erfolgt heute auf Grund der Messung der CO-Konzentration in der Grube (»Glückauf«, 111,1975, S. 59-63).The early detection of mine fires is now based on the measurement of the CO concentration in the pit ("Glückauf", 111, 1975, pp. 59-63).
Since at the beginning of the pit fire (smoldering fire) the CO content in the air stream only increases slightly, a sensitive CO determination is required. Must be in the concentration range for reliable detection 0-10 ppm CO can be measured reliably. The rate of change is in case of fire extremely low with approx. 03-1 ppm CO per hour. the end For this reason, trend recording is carried out.
Damit werden derzeit die beiden Störquellen eliminiertThe early detection of pit fires is significantly impaired if these are difficult Additional interference factors must be taken into account. Here are the exhaust gases from To mention diesel engines and the appearance of explosive clouds. In both cases, CO is emitted that too an increase in the CO content in the air stream and the CO value from a possible pit fire over camps. In order to exclude the falsification of the measurement result, the time dependency of the CO level tracked in explosive clouds as well as in exhaust gases from passing diesel locomotives s a rapid increase with a subsequent decrease in the CO value. So currently the two Eliminates sources of interference
Anders ist die Situation bei stationären Dieselantrieben, die permanent oder über längere Zeit Abgase inThe situation is different with stationary diesel drives, the exhaust gases in permanently or over a longer period of time

Die Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, ein Meßverfahren anzugeben, das auch bei Auftreten der beiden vorgenannten Störquellen eine Aussage überThe object of the invention is therefore to provide a measuring method that also occurs when the a statement about both of the aforementioned sources of interference
is den CO-Gehalt resultierend aus Grubenbränden ermöglicht the CO content resulting from mine fires is made possible
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die im Kennzeichen im Anspruch 1 angegebene Maßnahme gelöstThis object is achieved according to the invention by the measure specified in the characterizing part of claim 1 solved
Damit können unnötige Alarmauslösungen, die eine Unterbrechung des normalen Abbaubetriebes zurA second parallel measurement thus creates a further component from the diesel exhaust gases or the Explosive swaths are determined. The measurement of the NO content, which only comes from diesel exhaust gases, is suitable for this or explosive swaths can result. If a positive NO signal occurs, the detection system signals that the CO content is not or not alone caused by the combustion gases of a mine fire. This can prevent unnecessary alarms that an interruption of normal mining operations for

NO measurement can e.g. B. be done with an electrochemical measuring cell in which NO is anodically oxidized to NO 2. By choosing an electrode material and a potential of the measuring electrode, it can be achieved that only NO but not CO is converted. For this purpose, carbon or gold has proven itself as an anode material. The potential is set in the range of 1000-1100 mV against the hydrogen electrode in the same solution - the electrolyte is half-concentrated sulfuric acid - and kept constant by an electronic potentiostat. Such an electrochemical measuring principle is known ("Chemie, Ingenieur, Technik" 51, 1979, pp. 649-651).
The evaluation can now be carried out in such a way that if the NO content is present in the air stream, the value of the CO measurement taking place in parallel is not registered or evaluated accordingly. A comparison with CO values obtained at other points in the pit provides information about the presence of
so Grubenbränden möglich.
If, despite a positive NO indicator, there are signs of a fire in the pit, the diesel will be switched off in order to obtain reliable CO values.
Another possibility of correcting the CO value consists in subtracting a corresponding CO component for a measured NO value. This CO deduction must be determined empirically for diesel operation in pits, resulting in a CO-NO dependency.
