Abstract

The force measurement bearing of economical, very simple construction consists essentially of a single disc without a housing or bracket plate yet whose strain gauge measurement elements are extremely well protected. The ball bearing (1) or journal bearing fits into the disc (2) which has two diametrically opposed shear force measurement points.
