Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung, mittels welcher Münzen auf ihre Echtheit oder Vollwertigkeit geprüft werden können.

Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einer mit Einteilungen versehenen Scheibe a, welche auf einer wagrechten Drehachse δ gelagert ist. Oberhalb der Drehachse δ ist ein für die zu prüfenden Münzen bestimmter Laufkanal c an der Scheibe α befestigt. Die eine Hälfte des Laufkanals c ist geschlossen, die andere Hälfte ao offen. Der Hebel d ist an der offenen Hälfte befestigt, um die Münze e bequem ein- und ausführen zu können. Unterhalb der Drehachse b ist an der Scheibe α ein Gewicht f in solcher Stellung befestigt, daß der Laufkanal c an der geschlossenen Hälfte etwas geneigt ist. Vor der mit Einteilungen versehenen Scheibe a ist ein Gewichtspendel g mit mehreren Zeigern lose gelagert, welche das Gewicht der zu prüfenden Münze an den Einteilungen anzeigen. Die zu prüfende Münze e, wird oberhalb des Hebels d eingeführt, rollt in den Laufkanal c an die geschlossene Seite desselben und dreht dadurch die mit Einteilungen versehene Scheibe α nach unten. Das lose gelagerte Gewichtspendel g bleibt in seiner natürlichen Lage stehen, und die Zeiger geben an, ob die Münze e vollwertig ist oder nicht. Um nun die Münze e wieder aus dem Laufkanal c zu entfernen, drückt man den Hebel d nach unten, dann rollt die Münze e aus dem Laufkanal c heraus, und die Scheibe α pendelt in ihre Normallage bzw. auf den Nullpunkt zurück.
