Rosenlanguetten usw.Rose languettes etc.
The purpose of the invention is to produce double-sided cut-out tapes with bows, Spikes, rose languettes, as they were previously only made on embroidery machines to be able to weave the ribbon chair. The most common way of making replicas on the ribbon chair To manufacture the embroidered bow is the one which is used as an aid to the Serves wires around which the figure-shot coil forming the bow works. This The method has the major disadvantage that the size and shape of the arches are very limited are.
A second type of arch replica on ribbons woven on the ribbon chair can be found in the so-called cut-out tapes. This is where the wires go through the ground warp threads replaced. Move around the tapes made in this way the figure shot coils in such a way that the figure of the bow is only on the right side of the Ribbon to see, so woven on one side and also on the edge of the arch the base fabric emerges again. These two circumstances make such bow the one on the embroidery machine manufactured versus inferior. These disadvantages are in accordance with the invention thereby avoided that the sheets are worked into the base fabric on both sides in a cloth weave and then the base fabric protruding from the festoon edge is cut away in a known manner. This works the figure weft bobbin first under the stem thread and above the ground warp threads the next weft under the ground warp threads and over the stem threads, whereby it is achieved that the bow on the right and left side of the goods and on the outside covers and encloses the ground warp threads. This gives it something woven into the tape Arch, which thus appears on both sides of the goods, completely resembles the appearance of the Hand embroidery.
In the drawing, the new method is illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3.
Figs. 1 (A and B) and 2 (A and B) show a section through the warp on two different places the crossings of the basic shot and the figure shot.
Fig. Ι shows a deep part of the festoon arch, in other words, a point at which the formation of the festoon has moved to the left edge of the band is.
Fig. A is the section through the tape in the condition in which it comes from the ribbon chair, i.e. before the cut-out of the festoon outstanding, superfluous base fabric.
Die Figurschußspule d macht die Festonbindung. a 1 to « 20 are the basic warp threads ; b is the stem thread, which forms the end of the festoon. The basic weft c crosses the basic warp threads a 1 to β 20 in a plain weave. The figure-shot bobbin d makes the festoon weave.
Fig. Ι B shows the same point after cutting away the right protruding base fabric. At the bottom right in Fig. 1B is the cut piece, consisting of the basic warp threads 14 to 20 and the associated crossing of the basic weft c.
Top left shows Fig. Ι B in the warp threads a 1 to β 13 , the stem thread b, the canvas-like integration of part of the basic ■ weft c and the pincer-shaped or cross-shaped position of the figure weft d, the ready-to-sell goods.
A and B) shows a section through a high point of the festoon arch, i. i. a place where the festoon crossing of the
ίο rechten Kante des Bandes zugerückt ist.ίο the right edge of the tape has moved.
The festoon binding itself is exactly the same as in Fig. I. The basic warp threads and the ground weft retain their position as in Fig. i.
Fig. 2 A entspricht im übrigen der Fig. 1A, zeigt also die Ware vom Stuhl; Fig. 2B stellt ebenso wie Fig. ι B oben die verkaufsfertige ausgeschnittene Ware, unten rechts das ausgeschnittene Stück Band dar. The festoon arch itself has exactly the same shape in Fig. 2 as in Fig. 1. In Fig. 2 it is only shifted a number of basic warp threads further to the right than in FIG. 1. FIG. 2A otherwise corresponds to FIG. 1A, ie shows the goods from the chair; Figure 2B also illustrates Like Fig. ι B above the cut-out goods ready for sale, the cut-out below right As can be seen from the drawing, the difference is that in Fig. 1 there is more overshooting on the right Base fabric is cut away, correspondingly less base fabric remains to the left of the festoon arch.
In FIG. 2, to the right of the stem thread b, less base fabric is removed by cutting out; instead, the base fabric to the left of the festoon is wider. The festoon arch has the same shape in its individual crossings, it should be emphasized again, and it is also always filled with the plain weave, regardless of whether it is shifted more to the right or to the left, depending on the formation of the figures.
Fig. 3 shows the finished goods partially cut out.
