Der Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft ein Lese- und Notenpult, bei welchem an der Vorderplatte

An Stelle der sonst üblichen, das Buch tragenden Leiste ist am unteren Rande der Vorderplatte
b eine Klappe α angelenkt, die mit der Platte b durch Bänder c verbunden ist. Auf

die aus beliebigem Material gefertigt sein können, nach unten durchbiegt und dadurch die Klappe
an das Buch heranzieht. Die Klappe hält auf diese Weise das Buch fest und verhindert ein
Zurückfallen und Aufspreizen der Blätter, so daß das Glattstreichen und Festhalten der Blätter
von Hand unnötig wird. Beim Umblättern übt man auf die Klappe einen leichten Druck nach
