Die Presse besteht ähnlich wie bei einer Spindelpresse aus einem länglichen Kasten a von rechteckigem Querschnitt, in welchem Trennungsplättchen b und eine Druckplatte eingesetzt sind. Die Platten c, c¹ und c² sind durch Schrauben s untereinander verbunden, die so angeordnet sind, daß sie nach öffnen des Deckels des Kastens α ohne weiteres herausgeschraubt werden können. Infolge dieser Anordnung ist es möglich, die Gummiplatten c², wenn sie ihre Elastizität verlieren, leicht auszuwechseln.
An der Metallplatte c¹ sind Augen d vorgesehen, in welchen eine Achse e gelagert ist. Letztere besitzt am mittleren Teil einen Knopf oder einen kleinen Handgriff f und ist an beiden Enden durch Schlitze g in den Längswänden des Kastens α hindurchgeführt. Auf den aus diesen herausragenden Enden der Achse e sind kleine Klinken k befestigt. Letztere können durch Drehen mittels des Handgriffes f mit Sperrzahnung besitzenden Stangen i in Eingriff gebracht werden, die außen am Kasten in Längsrichtung verschiebbar befestigt sind.
