Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß in Rundfunk- und Fernseh-Programmzeitschriften zusätzlich zu den ausgedruckten Programmankündigungen in zugeordneten Programm-Kennzeichnungszeilen enthaltene digitale Markierungen von einer in den Rundfunk- oder Fernseh-Empfänger integrierten oder als getrennte Einheit elektrisch mit ihm verbundenen elektronischen Leseeinrichtung gelesen und die in den digitalen Markierungen in codierter Form enthaltenen Schaltbefehle entweder nach manuell geführter oder, bei Vorhandensein einer zuvor manuell markierten maschinenlesbaren Position innerhalb der Programm-Kennzeichnungszeile, automatisch bewirkter Abtastung in aufbereiteter Form zu vorbestimmten Zeiten an das Netzteil und den Programm-Kanalwähler des Empfängers weitergeleitet werden, wenn das im Minutentakt ausgegebene Bitmuster einer in den Empfänger eingebauten Digitaluhr mit dem Bitmuster der vorgegebenen Einschaltzeit der markierten Programm-Kennzeichnungszeile übereinstimmt.
