Abstract

A combination spirit level with a built in sliding gauge enables optional marking points to be set up without additional devices using sliding marker bolts which can be clamped at any separation distance for vertical or horizontal use. Two or more clamp-bolts slide in a cut-out made in the body of the level in its longitudinal direction. The bolts may be accurately positioned wrt. a scale marked on the lower edge of the level.
