Description
The invention relates to a photoelectric image converter for a camera for continuous image recording, wherein the object distance is very large compared to the image distance, For example, when taking aerial photos from a great height, with satellite images and astronomical recordings the case is.
To the resolving power To enlarge this photoelectric imager, converting elements have been developed in which a plurality of light-sensitive individual elements with a very small mutual spacing in a linear arrangement of one common version are surrounded. Given the current state of development, however, this can only be done relatively Create short lines of images a few centimeters long with a few thousand individual elements on their light-sensitive area photoelectric converters are not required. When lining up such image line sections for extension the image line for the purpose of enlarging the angle of view and the resolution result from the versions of Blind spots caused by transducer elements, which are contained in the image recording as strips without image information, thereby a complete evaluation over the whole

The invention is based on the object of providing a photoelectric image converter for applications with the means available to create the type described above, with which the disadvantages identified are eliminated.
This object is according to the invention with a photoelectric Image converter solved, in which two similar, axially parallel arranged lenses next to each other are those of the subject G project two practically identical partial images onto line sections occupied by photoelectric converters, being the mutual blind distance between the photosensitive Areas of the photoelectric converter is equal to the length of their light-sensitive area and the Positions of a line section corresponding to blind spaces with light-sensitive areas of photoelectric Converters in the other line section are occupied.
In an advantageous further development of the invention, this occurs known photoelectric converter for use in which in a common housing a plurality of photoelectric Transducer elements are linearly arranged with negligibly small mutual distances, with each transducer element has a signal output that is independent of the further converter elements.
Es zeigt:An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. It shows:

When using cameras of the type mentioned at the outset, there is a constant relative speed and direction of movement between the camera and your subject. By continuously exposing an image line, image tapes can thus be created from a recording object. For photoelectric recording methods, photoelectric converters 4 and 6 are available, which are arranged in image line sections B and B 1 . According to the current state of the art, these photoelectric converters 4 and 6 can only be manufactured economically in lengths of a few centimeters, with z. B. a few thousand individual transducer elements 9 are arranged linearly on a transducer h with a negligibly small mutual distance. Long image lines are obtained by lining up photoelectric converters of this type, with the active areas of light-sensitive converter elements 9 being uninterruptedly lining up at the contact points of the converters k or 6 because of the converter border. Such an image line thus has light-sensitive areas 8 and light-insensitive areas, the latter causing strip-shaped, non-detectable image areas on an image tape.
The disadvantage shown is eliminated with a photoelectric image converter which, according to FIG. 2, has two similar, axially parallel objectives 2 and 3, in whose image planes the subject G is imaged. Photoelectric converters k and 6 of the type described are arranged in the image planes in such a way that in an image line section B or B 1 captured by means of an objective 2 or 3, sections 5 or 8 of the same size are either occupied by photoelectric converter elements 9 or represent light-insensitive areas. If the arrangement is otherwise the same, care must be taken that the light-

Complete sensitive areas 8 of the line sections B and B 1 without gaps. Signals are continuously available from a recorded surface without any gaps, with the lateral offset of the two lenses not being a disruptive factor due to the large object distance. On the other hand, in the case of an image converter of the type described, the use of deflection devices and semitransparent mirrors can be dispensed with, which results in no loss of light for the overall arrangement.
