Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gegenständen aus Metallpulver mit inneren HohlräumenProcess for the production of articles from metal powder with internal cavities
The invention relates to a method for producing objects from metal powder with channels, combs or others inner cavities for guiding or receiving fluids or other materials, the cavities through Corresponding cores are formed, which are brought into a mold together with the metal powder, pressed and sintered, and are absorbed by the metal powder.
Such processes are described in US Pat. No. 2,628,166 (Haller) and B_ 318 195 (Toyota). With these well-known In methods, the shapes containing the metal powder and the absorbable cores made of copper can only be two-dimensional are pressed together. The known methods are therefore in their application to certain forms of Limited objects.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, mit dem sich auch Gegenstände komplizierter Gestalt herstellen lassen, derenThe invention is based on the object of a method to create the type mentioned, with which objects of complicated shape can also be produced, their

innere Hohlräume einem hohen Druck, vie er z.B. in hydraulischen Systemen vorkommt, ausgesetzt verden können.internal cavities can be exposed to high pressure, such as occurs in hydraulic systems.
The above problem is only achieved according to the following:. ^ O Solves that Cores are used which retain their shape while isostatically pressed with a pressure of 2000 to 8000 k ^ f / cm " is, after which a sintering process follows, which leads to uniformly highly compressed objects, the cavities delimiting walls are pressurized fluid-tight by absorption of the metal of the cores.
During the sintering process, temperatures between 1100 and 1200 ° C. are used for a period of 30 to 60 minutes, working with protective gas, for example split ammonia or hydrogen.
The invention makes it possible to manufacture sintered bodies with internal cavities, the walls of which contain the absorbed copper or alloys thus contained in an even distribution, so that they are actually liquid- and / or gas-tight and also are smooth. These are beneficial properties achieved by the ratio of the weight of the absorbable cores to the weight of the metal powder at least 1 S 10 is. In connection with this, it is more preferred in another Execution of the invention in the production of certain sintered parts, an absorbable mold core is used, which contains a cavity initially filled with an incompressible material, e.g. oil, whereby the incompressible material removed from the article after isostatic compaction.
It is possible to determine exactly how much core material has to be dissolved in the sintered body. if So if a relatively large cavity is to be created, the absorbable core does not need to be solid to be, but only to have that weight which is sufficient to the pores of the hollow or

A preferred embodiment of an according to the invention The manufactured item is e.g. a plain bearing, which is provided with pockets or grooves for a lubricant or another Material is provided, whereby the invention According to the method, the pockets or grooves are connected to a lubrication system through suitably shaped inner channels can.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to several exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.
Auf diese Weise entsteht ein haarnadelförraiger Hohlraum oder Kanal im Gegenstand 1.Fig. 1 shows in a transparent representation an object 1, before it has obtained its final shape through isostatic compression. The object consists of a metal powder 2, in which a mold core 3 is inserted, which in the example consists of a hairpin-shaped copper element. The object receives its final shape through isostatic compression, i.e. it finds a three-dimensional one Compression takes place under high pressure, in which the copper core 3 retains its original shape. Thereafter, the pre-pressed article is sintered, and in the process the metallic core melts and loosens completely up. Its material penetrates into the pores of the pressed metal powder body 2 and is absorbed by them. This creates a hairpin-shaped cavity or channel in item 1.
Der angewandteIt should be noted that the compression of the metal powder isostatic so that a densified article of uniform density is obtained. The applied

Process a density of about 90 "/ a is achieved. Fig. 2 shows a perspective, cut-open representation of a bearing bush, namely a so-called spherical bushing 4, which is also produced by isostatic compression of metal powder, while in the wall of the bush designated 6, initially individual elliptical cores' j are inserted, which during the sintering process be absorbed by the pores of the wall 6. In this embodiment, too, the cores 5 consist of a non-ferrous metal, preferably copper or a copper alloy. The cores have two end pieces 7 and 8 which extend in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve 4, so that openings 9 and 10 are formed after absorption. In addition, the designated 11 part of the channels formed by the cores to Bohrun ; 'j :: -.' / and 1? the rifle open. This latter opening is obtained in that the elliptical cores 5 are not completely enclosed by the material of the wall 6 during the inostatic compression. After the bushing has been manufactured, a number of balls 13 can be inserted through the openings 9 and 10 in channels made by the elliptical cores 5, after which the openings 9 and 10 are tightly closed. In this way, according to the invention, a ball housing, a ball nut or a ball bushing can be produced very easily, which can then serve as a bearing for a part movably guided therein by means of the balls in the channel 11.
Ebenfalls in Übereinstimmung mit dem vorstehend beschriebenenThe one in Pig. 3 ball nut 14 shown in longitudinal section is in principle produced in the same way as the ball bushing 5 according to FIG Fig. 2, with the exception that in this case not individual cores for separate ball channels, but a self-contained, helical core for one appropriately shaped ball channel 15 is used. Also in accordance with that described above

In the exemplary embodiment, the ball channel is open inwards, so that the balls 17 introduced through an opening 16 can come into rolling contact with a suitable, guided spindle.
Another embodiment of a sintered body produced according to the invention is shown in FIG. 4 shown cut perrjpektivisch. This time it is a sliding bearing 18 with oil grooves or oil pockets 19 and 20 in the inner sliding surface. Before the isostatic compression of the r.ctall powder body, two rod-shaped cores 22 and 23, preferably made of copper, are inserted into the wall of the bearing bush, designated by 21, in the case of this application example, in such a way that their ends 22A and 23Λ point towards the oil pockets 19 and 19, respectively. The opposite ends 22B and> 3Β of the rod-shaped cores are provided with an external thread 4. When carrying out the method according to the invention, the copper cores 22 and 23 penetrate into the pores of the wall 21 during the sintering process and are absorbed therein, so that via the channels formed thereby connecting rain between the oil pockets 19 and 20 and the side of the bearing bush labeled 25 are formed. Since internal threads were created at the connection end at 22B and 23B during the molding process, external oil lines can be screwed on or connected.
Der genauen Anordnung der öltaschen 19 und 4A shows the plain bearing bush 18 during its manufacture in that phase in which the absorbable cores 19B, 20B, 22B and 23B are inserted into the metal powder 18Λ before it is isostatically compressed and sintered . In order to achieve great accuracy in the arrangement of the oil pockets and 20 as shown in FIG. 4, the cores 19B and 20B are supported by a rod S to which they can be attached. This rod is removed after three-dimensional or isostatic compaction. It preferably has the same diameter as the inner bore of the plain bearing bush 18. The exact arrangement of the oil pockets 19 and

Pig. 5 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the invention a two-way check valve 26 with an isostatically compressed housing 27, which has three channels? 8, and 30 which open into a central chamber 31. The cross-section of the channels is smaller than the cross-section of the chamber 31, which receives a ball 32, the diameter of which is almost the same as the cross section of the chamber 31. In the position shown, the ball 32 interrupts the mutual connection between the channels. When the ball is shifted to one side or the other, are two channels connected to each other. In view of the invention it is important that the to form the inner channels and the chamber 31 used core made of a non-ferrous metal already contains the ball 32 before the Material of the valve housing is compressed. The Kunjel 32 In contrast to the core, it consists of a material that does not melt during sintering and consequently does not melt into the metal powder penetrates and is absorbed. A method for producing sintered bodies with an insert, e.g. a spherical part which is loosely inserted into it is, for example, is already described in UU-PS 2 628 166. However, this known method can only be carried out in presses whose pistons act in a single direction, so that only a so-called two-dimensional compression takes place which leads to less uniformly compacted objects, and wherein the absorption of the copper core is uneven is, so that it is very difficult to produce pressure fluid-tight walls with reliability.
