Description

Mit dem elastischen Zwischenstück soll ein zwischen einem Kugelkopf mit einer zu einem Kugelabschnitt verringerten Endfläche verbleibender Abstand zur Stützschale überbrückt und so dem Gelenk eine höhere Elastizität verliehen werden. Diese Ausbildung ist insofern nachteilig, als sich ein möglicherweise schon fertigungsbedingtes oder ein sich nach geraumer Betriebsdauer durch Verschleiß einstellendes Spiel zwischen den Gelenkteilen nicht völlig ausgleichen läßt.In known ball joints of the type described above, an elastic fitting is provided as additional spring means between the ball head and the support shell for a helical spring supported at the opposite end against the closure cover of the joint housing. Der Kugelkopf steht unter der Wirkung einer Schraubenfeder 5, die einerseits auf einer dem Kugelkopf angepassten Stützschale 6 aus Stahlblech einwirkt und sich andererseits gegen den Verschlussdeckel 7 abstützt. Zwischen diesem und der Stützschale 6 ist ein weiteres Federungselement 8 eingefügt, daß aus einem Profilstück aus einem geeigneten elastischen Kunststoff besteht und mit einem zapfenartigen Fuß 8 versehen ist, der in eine mittlere Öffnung 6 der Stützschale 6 eingreift und hierin über eine Ringnut eingeklemmt ist. Der Boden 6 der Stützschale ist eingewölbt. In dieser Vertiefung ist das Profilstück 8 lagesicher eingebettet.
