Da die Relaiswicklungen ebenso wie die Belastungswiderstände die über die Hilfsschalterkontakte zu führende Leistung in Wärme umsetzen, sind zur Vermeidung schädlicher Temperaturen aufwendige Kühlvorrichtungen erforderlich. Um dies zu vermeiden, hat man die elektrische Belastung der Hilfsschalterkontakte herabzusetzen versucht, was die Zuverlässigkeit der Überwachung stark gefährdet oder man hat die Relaiswicklungen bzw.
