Die Vorrichtung ist auf diese Weise selbständig auf jeder beliebigen Fläche aufstellbar. Zum Einlegen, Herausnehmen oder Betrachten der Bilder wird eine von außen leicht beschriftbare Kassette, die in dem Ständer steht, herausgenommen, durch den Einsatzteil werden die Bilder übersichtlich und geordnet dem Beschauer dargeboten, wobei sie beim Betrachten in der Kassette verbleiben. In besonders zweckmäßiger Weise ist der Ständer im Querschnitt U-förmig ausgebildet, er besteht aus zwei Seitenwänden und einer Rückwand, deren eine Stirnseiten die Standfläche abgeben. Die Kassetten bilden steife Kunststoffschalen mit einem rechteckigen Grundriß, die mit einer Schmalseite in Art eines Buches im Ständer abstellbar sind, Dabei sind die Kassetten mit einem Handgriff und mit einem Anker versehen.
