Es ist daher möglich, auch kostengünstig mit Vergasern zur Kraftstoffzumessung bestückte Brennkraftmaschinen geregelt und daher so zu betreiben, daß die jeweiligen Kraftstoff- und Luftanteile im zugeführten Gemisch präzise und innerhalb enger Grenzen gehalten bzw. um vorherbestimmbare Prozentmengen nach oben oder unten, also in Richtung fett oder mager verschoben werden können. Daher können auch mit Vergasern ausgerüstete Brennkraftmaschinen bei Kraftfahrzeugen o. dgl. mit der Katalysatortechnik ausgestattet werden.
