! i 'inen distance holLoz * fi the viola. 1 of burner sticks oln; Io inroak tor burn -ι learning L t; f preferably for light-water-cooled nuclear reactors, since a grid of vertically arranged and intersecting BLc hatege, which is provided with rigid system knobs and consists of resilient contact elements inserted into this grid. Such spacers, in which the block webs, for example, consist of a material which is very favorable in terms of neutron physics, such as a zirconium alloy, and the resilient contact elements, for example made of Tnco lel, have already been proposed several times. For example, it is known from German Aualegeschrift 1 489 632 to push the resilient contact elements over the spacer webs and to secure them by bending the free end. From the as yet unpublished German patent application "? 26 31 925 (VPA 76 P 9350 BRD), a suggestion can be found according to which corrugated spring strips pass through the side openings of the mesh walls and engage in these openings in a self-locking manner. All these design proposals, however, have one thing in common that the resilient contact elements can be overstressed either by very strong deformation forces in the fuel rods themselves or by forces acting laterally, such as earthquake vibrations, so that they no longer fulfill their task of centering the fuel rods in the respective spacer mesh

Therefore the task arises to find spacers of the above-mentioned basic principle, so that overloading of the resilient contact elements is prevented and the greatest possible lateral forces - a space necessary for emergency cooling between the irregularities of the fuel element πten.

The ρ «Auipnbs is invented; β by a spacer "construction solved, Iei of the Hjecbstepe in the area of the dio Absci'iiitte in the vicinity of the OborsowJe dor 'sub-account of the same ffij i horizontally from the "iStepfn. iiac-ji nod the sides formed rtog-shaped knobs and in the spaces formed by these knobs at least two arie-zeiricii hatch walls after both Side acting resilient stegförir t ^ fi contact elements inserted and are engaged. ein dafür geeignetes Brennelement in perspektivischer Ansicht, woraus insbesondere die Lage der Abstandshaltergitter deutlich zu ersehen ist. Die Fig. 3 und i\ uowie 5 und 6 zeigen jeweils eine Ausführungsform der erfinduugsgeinäßen Abstandshalterkonstruktion, die Fig. 7 veranschaulicht in der Draufsicht auf ein Abstandshaltergitter die Anordnung der starren und federnden Abstandshalterelemente und damit die normale Zentrierfunktion derselben.a suitable fuel assembly in a perspective view, from which in particular the position of the spacer grids can be clearly seen. FIGS. 3 and i \ uowie 5 and 6 each show an embodiment of the erfinduugsgeinäßen spacer construction, FIG. 7 illustrates in plan view of a spacer grid, the arrangement of the rigid and resilient spacer elements and thus the normal centering thereof.
According to FIG. 1, the fuel assemblies 2 forming the core of the pressurized water reactor are located within a pressure vessel 1 and are there traversed by the cooling water in the manner shown from bottom to top. One possible type of fuel assembly is shown in FIG. The fuel assembly 2 initially consists of a framework consisting of a top and a base plate 4 and Regeistabführungrohrt-ti b connecting these. These control rod guide tubes 5 pass through a number of spacer grids 3 arranged one above the other at fuel rod positions and hold them. The spacer meshes can be seen from this illustration, but these double-settling nuclear reactor fuel rods 8 (see FIG. 7) are not shown for the sake of clarity. However, these fuel rods are held in the individual spacer meshes for centering and vibration damping by resilient and rigid contact elements, the resilient contact elements usually touching the fuel rod in the center of the spacer grid, while the rigid contact elements or knobs are above and below this point. This system of holding a fuel rod in one plane is therefore referred to as a three-point support. Such a holder is also achieved with the spacer constructions shown in the following figures, but additionally the above-described safeguard against oversized forces occurring laterally.

aus den FIg. 3 und 4. Lediglich rtsr Blechsteg 31 bzw. Only the right sheet metal web 31 or 32 is window-shaped between the knobs (34), which not only makes it easier for the spring elements 6 and 7 to be introduced, but also saves material on the lattice webs. Furthermore, there is a connection between the coolant flows within the individual dimensions of the spacer grid, which improves the cooling effect in the area of the same with iUth. brings. In this connection it should also be pointed out that the spring elements acting on both sides can of course also be made in one piece.
As already mentioned, FIG. 7 shows a plan view of a section of this spacer plate. From this it can be seen that every second lattice webs 31a and 32a are provided with resilient jtalageelememtsn 6 and 7 in both co-ordinates, the intervening ones are only provided with dra! Joppen according to Fig. H and 6, this means that initially all can be Bleciistege 31 and 32 made absolutely equal "the differences arise only stand din · h d" n installation of resilient elements. As already mentioned at the beginning, a resilient element and a rigid hopper face each other, so that the usual three-point mounting is achieved. Of course, to achieve this principle, such an arrangement of mops and resilient contact elements could also be selected in which resilient elements and mops alternate with each other for each lattice web.
Finally it should be mentioned that the present invention of course not on the two examples mentioned limited, rather other design options are conceivable that this principle of securing the resilient investment elements and security is always sufficient Cooling cross-sections between the pulp rods - also in the case of one of the reactor core - follow.
