Abstract

In a solar energy absorber heat is transferred to an air stream which flows in a two-pass pattern, first across the absorber above a baffle plate and then returning below the same baffle. Used for solar heating systems for buildings. Device provides increased energy collection efficiency, lower air flow with consequent increase in air outlet and reduced noise level.
