Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Fadenspule eines im übrigen bekannten Gerätes zum Vernähen und Unterbinden von Wunden feststellbar angeordnet ist. Die Umstellung der Nadeln nach rechts oder links kann auch durch eine Hebelvorrichtung, an der die Nadeln befestigt sind, erfolgen (Fig. 4). Um ein schnelleres Arbeiten zu ermöglichen, können in geeigneten Fällen auch mehrere Nadein nebeneinander geschaltet werden (Fig. 5). Nach Durchstechen der Wundränder mit den Nadeln und dem Faden werden die sich bildenden Fadenösen an den durchstochenen Stellen festgehalten, wodurch eine fortlaufende Naht gebildet wird. Zwecks Unterbindungen können die mit den Nadeln durch die Wundränder gezogenen Fäden durchschnitten und über die Wundränder verknüpft werden.
