Die nachstehend beschriebene lotrechte Mauerlatte kann von einem Maurer rasch und ohne Beihilfe vermittels ihrer besonderen Klemmvorrichtung durch Klemmhebel am Mauerwerk angebracht werden, worauf durch einen verstellbaren Schnurschieber mit Stifteingriff jede Schichthöhe des Mauerwerkes bis zur Gerüsthöhe genau angegeben wird. Ist das Mauerwerk bis auf Gerüsthöhe fertiggestellt, so kann die Latte durch Ausübung eines einfachen Druckes auf den Klemmhebel sehr rasch wieder abgenommen werden. Wenn, wie es beim Lösen meistens der Fall ist, der Maurer die Vorrichtung von Hand aus nicht mehr erreichen kann, so genügt es, wenn mittels einer Latte der Hebel heruntergedrückt wird, wobei mit einer Hand der obere Teil der Mauerlatte festgehalten wird. Auf der Zeichnung ist in Fig. 1 ein Ausführungsbeispiel der neuen Mauerlatte in der Vorderansicht und in Fig. 2 in der Seitenansicht dargestellt.
