Auf dem Wege zwischen dem Siebkasten und den Walzen läßt man aus über dem Band angebrachten Vorrichtungen dauernd Ton, danach Leimlösung in geeignetem j Mengenverhältnis auf die Masse fallen und j außerdem noch Aluminiumsulfat. Nachdem die Masse von den Walzen abgenommen ist, wird sie getrocknet, gegebenenfalls mit Farbe bestrichen und satiniert. Der Asbest braucht nicht in Faserform dem Holzstoff zugemischt zu werden, sondern kann auch in anderer Form, z. B. als leichtes, etwa bereits imprägniertes Gewebe dem Stoffbande zugefügt werden.
