Ein Grundbrett α und ein Deckbrett b tragen je eine Putzschicht c, d. Das Deckbrett ist an den Enden des Bügels mit Schlingen h geführt, und Streifen * aus Leder oder ähnlichem Stoff sind an der Innenseite dieser Enden eingelegt, um zu verhüten, daß das Messer am Bügel anschlägt.
