Um ein, wie in der Zeichnung dargestelltes Gewebe anzufertigen, werden die Stückfäden der Kette A wie üblich durch die litzen C und die Polfäden der Kette B durch die Litzen D und die Dreherlitzen E gezogen. Die Litzen D werden, um beliebige Plüsch- und Gazemuster hervorbringen zu können, mit einer Jacquard-Maschine verbunden, während die Litzen Cund E auch durch Contremarsch bewegt werden können. Das Weben beginnt, indem beim ersten Schufs G die Litzen C, beim zweiten Schufs H die Litzen C und D, wie auch in Fig. 2 ersichtlich, gehoben werden. Um nun Plüsch zu weben, müssen die Litzen D, wie in Fig. 1, gehoben und eine entsprechende Ruthe F eingelegt werden. Der Polfaden B bildet daher sowohl Gaze- als auch Plüschkette. Da nun die Litzen D, wie oben bemerkt, durch eine Jacquard-Maschine gehoben werden, so ist dadurch auch ermöglicht, dafs die verschiedensten Plüschmuster in Gazegrund eingewebt werden können.
