In Fig. 4 ist gezeigt, wie. sich das Quecksilber während des Laufens einer vollständig gleichmäßig gepackten Schleuder auch gleichmäßig auf die Kammern verteilt und sich in überall gleicher Stärke an die äußere Ringwand anlegt. In Fig. 5 ist die Lage des Quecksilbers gezeigt, wenn ungefähr die halbe Ausgleichmöglichkeit erfolgt; in Fig. 6 ist ungefähr die größte Ausgleichlage des im Rohr enthaltenen Quecksilbers angegeben.The drum «is carried by an axis b , f is an annular tube attached to the drum α , which forms the annular space intended for receiving the mercury.
