Beleuchtungsvorrichtung für Projektionsapparate.Lighting device for projection apparatus.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 30. Juli 1911 ab.Patented in the German Empire on July 30, 1911.
The present invention relates to a novel lighting device for projection apparatus, namely, it refers to such devices that work without a condenser, as well the light with the help of one or more discs arranged parallel to the slide diffusely disperse.
The essence of the invention is that a number of tubular incandescent lamps as the light source that are arranged parallel or inclined to the surface of the slide, which creates a light source evenly distributed over the area to be exposed will. Compared to the arc lamps previously used, the innovation not only has the Advantage that the whole area is exposed evenly, but it is those with the Projectors equipped with new lighting equipment are also easier to operate, the operating costs are lower and finally the devices can be much more compact build what is especially valuable for lecture tours, etc.
On the drawing are three different embodiments of the device for execution, of the procedure.
Fig. ι ist eine Längsansicht eines Projektionsapparates. Fig. Ι is a longitudinal view of a projection apparatus.
Es zeigen ferner
Fig. 2 den Querschnitt,It also show
2 shows the cross section,
durch welches die Glühlampen b mit elektrischem Strome versorgt werden.3 shows the longitudinal section of the first embodiment of the projection device, while FIGS. 4 and 5 show cross sections of the two further embodiments.
The tubular incandescent lamps b are arranged in rows with a small space between them and are attached to the walls of a box α to which an electrical cable m leads, through which the incandescent lamps b are supplied with electrical current.
The heat developed by the incandescent lamps can escape to the outside through exhaust openings h , which are shielded by caps i so that no rays of light can penetrate out of the box α.
According to FIG. 2, a relatively thick translucent wall e is arranged between the lamps b and the image to be projected (slide) χ; by which the rays of light emanating from the incandescent lamps d are scattered before they strike the image *. In order to utilize the light of the incandescent lamps b as completely as possible, a reflective wall c is arranged behind the incandescent lamps, through which the light rays of the incandescent lamps b that do not directly hit the translucent wall e are thrown against the wall e and the picture χ (Fig. 1 to 3).
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the translucent wall consists of a body f which is curved concavely on one side towards the image χ and on the other side facing the incandescent lamps b has grooves which are approximately concentric to the cross-section of the incandescent lamps b , whereby on the one hand the lamps b can be moved particularly close to the wall f and on the other hand the light is concentrated on the projection lens of the projection apparatus. Curved, individual mirror surfaces d are in front of the individual lamp tubes.
gesehen, durch welche das Licht der Glühlampen auf die durchscheinende Wand f geworfen wird.seen through which the light of the incandescent lamps is thrown onto the translucent wall f.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, two rows of tubular incandescent lamps b are provided. The lamps in one row are offset from the lamps in the other row by half the lamp spacing, so that the rear lamps shine through the spaces between the front lamps and at the same time serve as mirrors through which the light shone backwards from the front lamps against the picture χ is thrown. Between the lamps b and the picture χ two walls g, g 1 are arranged, which can consist of similarly translucent materials or also of different translucent materials that are gradually tinted against each other.
The box α has the shape of a cassette, so that it can be pushed into the cassette slide of a photographic apparatus just like an ordinary cassette, the lens of which can thus be used as a projection lens. According to FIG. 1, a special cassette slide can also be connected to the cassette slide of the photographic apparatus by an extension bellows k and crossed guide rails I if the extension length of the apparatus is to be increased.
The translucent walls e, f, g, g 1 are expediently made of glass, since glass can be produced in any optical density or made more or less translucent by etching and grinding.
To dissipate the heat generated by the incandescent lamps from the cassette can with Advantageously, a chimney can be used which can be conveniently removed from the cassette.
