Das Hauptpatent betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Regeln der Geschwindigkeit von Sprechmaschinen, bei welcher die bewegte Unterlage für den Phonogrammträger mit Bremskissen ausgerüstet ist, die von Fliehkraftmassen gegen eine Bremsfläche gedrückt werden. Der Bremsring I mit der ihn tragenden Platte 2 umfaßt mit genügendem Spielraum die frei in letzterer bewegliche Welle f und ist in der Längsrichtung dieser Welle auf und ab bewegbar. Zu diesem Zwecke legt er sich mittels eines Ringflansches 3 gegen einen Hebel 4, der mittels des Bolzens 0 am Gestell angelenkt ist und durch eine Feder 5 im Ruhezustand nach oben gezogen wird. Der Hebel 4 umfaßt gabelartig die Welle f, so daß diese sich in ihm frei bewegen kann, während sich der Ringflansch 3 auf die Gabelung auflegt. Das äußere freie Ende des Hebels 4 kann dann als Schallarmträger dienen. Die Bremsringplatte 2 muß dann in geeigneter Weise an der Drehung durch die Reibungswirkung des Bremswinkelhebels verhindert werden.
