Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Hilfsmittel für die operative Behandlung einer Trichterbrust aus zwei zueinander symmetrischen, über ihre freien Enden festlcgbaren Spannbügel. Die für die Trichterbrust typische Fehllage des Brustbeins und der Rippen hat man bisher dadurch korrigiert, daß man einige Rippenpaare vom Brustbein abirennte, an bzw. in ihnen metallene Spannbügel fixierte und die beiden Spannbügel jedes Rippenpaares einerseits untereinander und andererseits auf dem Brustbein befestigte. Da man bisher immer nur glatte Spannbügel verwendete und zur Verbindung denselben Draht benutzte, war die Festigkeit der Verbindung nicht sehr hoch. Die Bügel konnten sich lockern und gegeneinander verschieben. Zur Befestigung der Bügel auf dem Brustbein war man gezwungen, das letztere zu durchbohren und einen Draht durchzuziehen. Es kam auch vor. daß sich die Spannbügel noch um ihre Längsachse verdrehten. Nach der Fixierung der Schloßgrundplatte am Brustbein legl man die Spannbügel in der beschriebenen Weise in die Führungsnut der Grundplatte ein. wobei man eventuel überstehende Teile der Spannbügel natürlich auch ab schneiden kann.
