Reihenbilder-Aufnahmeapparate für wissenschaftliche Nah- und Mikroaufnahmen sind bisher wenigstens für den Markt noch nicht hergestellt worden und würden bei der Einzelherstellung natürlich sehr teuer werden. Die Wissenschaftler behelfen sich deshalb mit den für den allgemeinen Gebrauch hergestellten Apparaten, die aber hinsichtlich der Einstellung und Überwachung des Bildes für die gedachten Zwecke sehr wenig geeignet sind. Insbesondere versagen bei Nahaufnahmen die gebräuchlichen Sucher gänzlich, weil sie durchaus keine Gewähr für Schärfe und Abgrenzung geben. Es kommt bei Nahaufnahmeii bewegter Objekte (z. B. Insekten) wegen der möglichen Entfernung des Objektes aus der Einstellebene sehr häufig darauf an, die Einstellung während der Durchbewegung des Filmbändes nachzuprüfen. In solchen Fällen konnte man sich bisher nicht anders helfen, als indem man den Apparat unter Preisgabe. einer mehr oder minder großen Filmstrecke öffnete und an den Ort des Bildfeldes eine Mattscheibe brachte, die man alsdann mit Hilfe eines Spiegels betrachtete. Die Vorrichtung läßt sich ungefähr mit einer Spiegelkamera oder einem Spiegelsucher vergleichen, ist aber dem vorliegenden Sonderzweck dadurch angepaßt, daß sie unter Einbeziehung des Aufnahmeobj ektivs an die gewöhnlichen kinematographischen Aufnahmeapparate für allgemeine Zwecke ohne weiteres angefügt werden kann. Statt des Aufnahmeobj ektivs wird an die Kamera zunächst ein rohrartiges Zwischenstück angeschraubt, welches vorn seinerseits das Aufnahmeobjektiv enthält und mit einem beweglichen Spiegel sowie mit einer Visierscheibe und einer Lupe ausgerüstet ist.
