Der durch das Patent 229654 geschützte Metallschlauch mit nach Art eines im Längsschnitt wellenförmg gestalteten Faltenrohres profilierten, ringartigen Falten ist gemäß vorliegender Erfindung dahin verbessert, daß die den Schlauch bildenden, aneinander geschweißten Glieder aus mehreren Teilen bestehen, die, wiederum miteinander verschweißt, ein Einzelglied des Hauptpatentes bilden. Hierbei sind die Teilungen dieses Einzelgliedes so vorgenommen worden, daß die Teilungslinien durch die quer zur Längsachse des Schlauches gelegten Mittelachsen der Wulste verlaufen.
