Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine besondere Ausführungsform eines in ein Doppellager umwandelbaren Ruhebettes.(Chaiselongue), das in der Zeichnung dargestellt ist, und zwar zeigt:The subject of the invention is a particular embodiment of a double bearing convertible bed (chaise longue) shown in the drawing, namely shows:

Der obere gepolsterte Teil α mit der verstellbaren Kopflehne b ist mit dem Gestell c in bekannter Weise durch Gelenke d aufklapp-„ bar verbunden (Fig. 3 und 4). An der anderen Längsseite ist ein Rahmen β gelenkig so angebracht, daß er, nach innen umgelegt, vollständig im Innern des Gestells c verdeckt liegt. Der Rahmen e weist an der Außenseite die nötigen Stützen f auf, welche mittels Gelenke g umlegbar angeordnet sind. Am Kopf- und Fußende des Rahmens e, der mit einer Stoffbahn o. dgl. bespannt ist, sind an Stegen h Stirnwände i bzw. k umlegbar befestigt, welche auf ebenfalls nach innen umlegbare Arme I aufgesetzt werden können. Je zwei zusammengehörige Arme I sind durch eine Querschiene fest miteinander verbunden, welche eine weitere Stütze m nach Art der Stützen f trägt. Ferner befindet sich am Rahmen e eine in der Höhe verstellbare Kopfstütze η bekannter Art. Diese ist einerseits bei 0 gelenkig befestigt, anderseits weist sie einen angelenkten Steg p auf, der mittels Löcher mit einem am Rahmen e vorgesehenen Haken q in lösbare Verbindung gebracht werden kann. Am Gestell c sind ebenfalls in üblicher Weise Fuß- und Kopfbretter r bzw. s befestigt, und zwar so, daß die Gelenkteile t unter entsprechender Kröpfung an im Gestellinnern vorgesehenen Stangen u angeordnet sind und sich in aufgeklapptem Zustande der Schutzbretter in Aussparungen der Querwände einlegen, so daß die Bretter sich dicht an die letzteren anschließen.
