Abstract

High speed shuttle picker is provided with a shock absorbing buffer composed of interchangeable elastomeric insert provided on its resting face with projections. Deformation of the insert during impact and air exchanger between projections leads to cooling of picker. Preferably the insert projection is formed by a circular rib of trapezoidal configuration. Anstelle der Ringwulst können auch mehrere Vorsprünge angeordnet werden. Diese können z.B. die Form von Kugelabschnitten oder von Kegelstümpfen haben. Die Vorsprünge werden so bemessen, daß sie sowohl beim Schlag wie beim Aufschlagen des einlaufenden Schützens flach gedrückt werden, so daß der Einsatz schon vor Erreichen des maximalen Druckes der Schützenspitze mit der ganzen Fläche anliegt. Im allgemeinen wird man die Vorsprünge am Pickerkörper anbringen. Sie können jedoch gegebenenfalls auch am Einsatz oder >an Einsatz und Pickerkörper angebracht werden.
