Diese Neuerungen sollen auf eine einfache Art und Weise Ersatz bieten für die bekannten mechanischen Ventilationseinrichtungen, als Ventilatoren und andere Maschinen zur Erzeugung eines starken Luftzuges; sie sollen dazu dienen, die Luft in Abzugskanälen, Wasserciosets und dergleichen Räumen zu reinigen, indem sie gleichzeitig die in diesen Räumen enthaltenen schädlichen Keime von Krankheitsstoffen zerstören.
