The invention relates to a desk which can be used as a dressing table and has a hinged lock box which is arranged in front of the attachment and covers the plate.
The subject of the invention differs from the known furniture of this type in that the lock box is connected to a compartment that can be displaced in the vertical direction in the attachment so that it is lowered or raised when the lock box is opened or closed and kept in equilibrium so that it is accessible both when the lock box is open and when it is closed and this can be brought into any inclined position without special locking means, without the risk of slipping down onto the worktop.
