Es kommt hierbei durchaus nicht darauf an, die von einemIt is known that the amount of air that has access to the condenser affects the degree of Air dilution is quite essential, and it is therefore of great practical value to various Times and under different conditions to get knowledge of the amount of air that the air pump emits from one Steam condenser is sucked off. It doesn’t matter who you are
ίο Kondensator kommende -Luftmenge ganz genau
Art.
Diesen Anforderungen entspricht der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung.ίο To measure and determine the amount of air coming in from the condenser very precisely, but it is enough if you only get to know its approximate amount. A device that fulfills this purpose must indicate at a single glance whether air is being conveyed at all, and whether the amount of air being conveyed is large or small, and finally it must also show the approximate amount of such amount of air such indication must be immediately recognizable or visible without the aid of standards and calculations of any kind.
The subject matter of the present invention meets these requirements.
Several embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings for purposes of illustration brought.
Fig. Ι explains the general arrangement of the device e for displaying the amount of air sucked out of a condenser a by means of an air pump c. The air pump c is connected to the condenser a by a suction pipe b , while the pressure pipe d of the pump c z. B. by means of a branching line f, the display device e is connected, through which the sucked air is pushed through.
In order to allow the discharge of air quantities that exceed the predetermined amount or of water in the event of irregular working conditions, the pressure pipe is provided at a suitable point with an outwardly opening and automatically closing safety valve η . The load on the valve η can be regulated so that the valve does not open until a certain pressure is reached.
The display device consists of a suitably set up, water-filled container g, into which a smaller diameter, closed container h is inserted and fastened in an expedient manner. This container h is connected to the branch pipe f by means of a connecting piece / and has a number of holes or passages m in its wall through which the interiors of the two containers e and h communicate with one another
The outer container g is covered by a cover plate y provided with air outlet openings ζ .
The air conveyed by the air pump c can only get into the open air by depressing the water level in the container h (Fig. 2), through the openings m thereby exposed into the outer container g , in this by the correspondingly higher water setting rises in the form of air bubbles and finally escapes through the openings ζ. The arrangement of the passages ni is therefore to be chosen so that they are at different altitudes, but all are always below the water level in the outer container when the device is in operation.
Auch kann man umgekehrt aus dem tiefsten freigelegten Loch oder der am tiefsten liegenden Reihe vonThe falling or sinking of the water level in the inner container depends on that in the Unit of time conveyed air volume, and since the water level in the outer container around a corresponding If the level increases, this fact can be used to measure or display the amount of air conveyed. Also can conversely, from the deepest exposed hole or the deepest row of
Holes, through which air flows, draw a conclusion about the amount of air conveyed. To enable these observations, the outer container g is made of glass or another made of transparent fabrics. The amount of air flow can easily be obtained by this or read off if you use the Außenbzw. Inner container with corresponding graduation marks that is obtained by forcing air through the device, its speed or the amount has been determined beforehand using other aids.
In Fig. 4 an embodiment is shown, which allows that the inner container h 1 can rise in accordance with the pressure in it in the liquid covering its outlet openings, in order to enable the necessary regulation with respect to the air passage area, without unnecessarily to increase the air pressure in the inner container when it comes to coping with larger amounts of air. The conveyed air exits partly above and partly below the level of the final liquid. For this purpose, the inner container h 1 is arranged displaceably on a pipe socket r through which the air conveyed by the pump reaches the interior of the container h 1. The pipe socket r, which may be connected to the line f equipped with a check valve χ , carries a plate r 1 , which serves as the base for the outer container g. The height of the inner container at equilibrium. depends on the amount of air conveyed. Vigorous up and down movements of the inner container, caused by sudden changes in the amount of air conveyed, are however avoided or weakened by the fact that the water has to make its way through the holes tn . A rapid upward or downward movement of the container A 1 accordingly causes a large difference in the water level inside and outside the container h 1 , whereby the weight or the buoyancy of the container is increased accordingly, thereby preventing further rapid movement in the same direction.
The dead weight of the inner container can also be partially canceled if desired by providing the container h 1 with a float chamber u or equipping it with a spring or a counterweight. Conversely, the weight of the inner container h 1 can of course also be increased by loading, etc., if this should become desirable or necessary in special cases. The movement of the container can also be braked or dampened by bringing a piston brake, not specifically shown, into connection with the container or by providing it with an outer flange ν (diaphragm or the like) through which the annular gap w can pass the liquid is reduced accordingly.
Through the outer container made of transparent fabrics, you can see through the Immediately observe the air bubbles emerging from the holes in the inner container and draw a conclusion on the relative flow rate of the air. Once the device is provided with a corresponding classification and If a certain amount of water is used for the water closure, it can be determined from the Number of rows of holes through which the air passes, immediately the approximate amount of air escaping recognize.
If the inner container is arranged to be movable, the amount of air escaping from the Height position of the inner container can be estimated, if desired, a scale can also be used and a pointer can be provided for this.
Es ist gleichgültig, ob die Gesamtluftmenge durch den Flüssigkeitsabschluß in Blasen hindurchtritt oder ob die Luft nur teilweise durch solche Flüssigkeit hindurch entweicht, der Druck, gegen den die Luft austritt, ist so gering, daß er, wasThe device is not suitable for an exact measurement of the air volume flowing through, This is also not the purpose of the invention at all, but it is with advantage to one approximate display, in particular to identify fluctuations in the outflowing amounts of air, for comparison with those delivered by two or more air pumps Air volumes and for making the escaping air volumes immediately visible. It does not matter whether the total amount of air is through the liquid seal passes through bubbles or whether the air only partially passes through them Liquid escapes through it, the pressure against which the air exits is so low that it what
seine Wirkung auf die Luftpumpe anbetrifft, vernachlässigt werden kann.its effect on the air pump can be neglected.
