Die Erfindung betrifft eine Entwässerungsvorrichtung für Ventile u. dgl., darin bestehend, daß seitlich am Ventilgehäuse eine mit dem Innenraume des letzteren in Verbindung stehende Kammer angebracht ist, in welcher ein Schwimmer angeordnet ist, der durch die Kammerwände in senkrechter Richtung zentrisch geführt wird. In der oberen Wand der Kammer ist für diesen Schwimmer ein Ventilsitz ausgebildet, dessen Durchgangsöffnung durch einen Kanal mit der Außenluft verbunden ist. Die Kammer ist an dem Ventilgehäuse derart angeordnet, daß der Rand des Hauptventiltellers in die Kammer reicht und die Aufwärtsbewegung des Schwimmers verhindert, wenn das Hauptventil in der Sperrlage ist. Demnach kann das Wasser aus der Leitung durch den Kanal im Oberteile der Kammer frei entweichen, wenn das Hauptventil geschlossen ist, während in der offenen Lage des letzteren der Schwimmer den Kanal der Kammer verschließt und den Innehraum der Leitung von der Außenluft absperrt.
