Insbesondere ist durch eingehende Versuche nachgewiesen, daß man bei der Klärung von stark verunreinigten Abwässern, wie Kanaljauche, und bei der Desodorierung von Gasen, wie sie den Stärke-Zuckerfabriken entströmen, mit der aus Kaolin und erdiger Braunkohle hergestellten Masse bessere Resultate erzielt, als mit den nach den Verfahren von Melsens, Ziegler und O Is ehe fs ky (vgl.
