Description
The invention relates to a device for multiplying a pulse repetition frequency.
Devices for multiplying the frequency of pulse trains are known per se. Multiple rectification of a sinusoidal voltage derived from the pulse train with subsequent sifting out of the basic frequency with subsequent triggering results in a multiplication by a factor of 2 m , w = 1, 2, 3, ... achieved. Here, however, the multiplication is limited to a factor of 2 m , m = 1, 2, 3, ..., i.e. not arbitrary. In addition, the timing of the output pulses is fixed relative to the input pulse train.
A device for multiplying a frequency is already known from FR-PS 15 68 598, in which an input pulse sequence periodically erases a sawtooth voltage and controls the sawtooth voltage when it crosses zero. In this way, the input frequency is doubled. By connecting such devices in series, a frequency multiplication with 2 m , = 1, 2, 3 ..: number of stages can be achieved. Here, too, the multiplication is limited to the factor 2 ™, m = 1, 2 .., so not arbitrary. In addition, the timing of the output pulses relative to the input pulse sequence is also fixed here.
A circuit arrangement is also known for generating pulses of the same leading edges and chronologically staggered trailing edges, which is characterized in that the time function generator triggered by an input pulse or the like controls a potential shift device, the output potentials of which at threshold value elements S \ to S n output pulses of time-definable lengths generate (DE-OS 14 62 414).
The invention is based on the object of a device for multiplying a pulse repetition frequency state that is free from these disadvantages.
Gemäß der Erfindung wird diese Aufgabe durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des Anspruchs genanntenAccording to the invention this object is achieved by what is stated in the characterizing part of the claim

Einrichtung auftretenden Spannungen. The device according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing in the exemplary embodiment described below. It shows
the F i g. 1 shows a device according to the invention and FIG. 2 shows the voltages occurring at various points in this device.
In FIG. 1 is applied to the terminal 7, the input voltage Ue This input voltage Lfeist shown in Figure 2 above, will a monostable multivibrator 1 supplied to the positive at each Fianke the input voltage Ue generates a short-term pulse; the voltage curve is shown with Ul in Fig.2. These pulses are used by an integrator 2 as extinguishing pulses for a linearly increasing voltage generated by it (voltage source: terminal 8 with voltage U \) . The result is a saw-tooth-shaped output voltage Us of the integrator, as shown in Fig. 2. This sawtooth output voltage has the same frequency as the input pulse train Ue- This voltage Us is now fed to the inputs of a series of triggers 3.1,3.2,33, ... 3.n The switching points of these triggers are set by potentiometers 5.1,5.2,53 ,. .. 5.n adjustable, whereby the potentiometer 5.1 belongs to the trigger 3.1 etc. The trigger 3.1 is followed by a monostable multivibrator 4.1, the trigger 3.2 a monostable multivibrator 4.2, the trigger 33 a monostable multivibrator 43, etc., and the trigger 3.n a monostable multivibrator An . The outputs of the monostable multivibrators 4.1, 4.2, 43, ... 4.n lead to an OR circuit 6, which has the output 9. The output voltage is denoted by Ua and in Fi g. 2, last row, shown The time shift of the output pulses is determined by the setting of the switching points of the individual triggers using the potentiometer mentioned. If η triggers are present, then the output voltage Ua shows a frequency / j times greater than the input voltage Ub. The device described thus allows the input pulse repetition frequency to be multiplied as desired. Furthermore, by setting the switching points of the trigger, any desired time position of the output pulse train can be achieved.
