Description

The invention relates to a linearity correction circuit as described in the preamble of claim 1 is assumed.
■■..·■■■■· Zur Erzeugung einer Korrekturspannung für die Ablenkwicklung verwendet man ferner Resonanzschaltungen, die genau auf die Ablenkfrequenz abgestimmtIn modern television receivers that work with relatively large deflection angles, the 6 S screen should be scanned at a constant speed so that a uniform grid occurs. So a grid in which the reproduced image "υ" of US-PS 32 11946 is known a linearity correction circuit in which the deflection winding in series with a capacitor and a secondary winding of a transformer is connected to the secondary winding of an autotransformer, the total winding (primary winding) of which in turn is at a constant voltage via another capacitor. This capacitor also connects a resistor in parallel with the primary winding of the aforementioned transformer in series with an inductance, a diode and the collector-emitter path of a switching transistor, with the aid of which the capacitor is periodically discharged. A further diode is also connected in series with an adjustable resistor via the series connection of the deflection winding with the secondary winding of the autotransformer. With regard to the linearization, the secondary winding of the transformer only acts as a resistor, which couples the ohmic resistor connected via its primary winding into the deflection circuit of the deflection winding, where it acts as a series resistor for the capacitor in series with the secondary winding of the transformer during the trace interval. The diode in series with the adjustable resistor becomes conductive during the second half of the retrace interval and bridges the voltage source then formed by the transformer, so that a symmetrical voltage is fed to the deflection winding despite a non-linear voltage shape on the capacitor in series with the autotransformer. In this circuit, the voltage at the deflection winding has a sawtooth shape, the initially asymmetrical course of which becomes symmetry using a resistor to de-linearize a linear section. ■■ .. · ■■■■ · To generate a correction voltage for the deflection winding, resonance circuits are also used that are precisely matched to the deflection frequency

Need to become. Other known correction circuits (for example DT-AS 12 83 271) work with one saturable choke in series with the deflection winding is switched and operates as a non-linear correction impedance during the deflection interval. The throttle S With the help of a permanent magnet, a constant field pre-magnetization or level can be set is needed for the required asymmetry of their characteristic curve. A similar arrangement is also shown in the US-PS 32 83 279 described. In such correction circuits, the position of the permanent magnet must be precisely adjusted for perfect operation. One such adjustment is troublesome and time-consuming, and there is also the risk that they during operation by external Influences is changed in an undesirable manner.
The object of the present invention is to provide a linearity correction circuit which does without permanent magnets, so that the adjustment work is not necessary. Furthermore, the corrective actions require very little additional effort in terms of construction.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
In contrast to US Pat. No. 3,211,946, which has already been discussed, there is no saw-tooth voltage across the deflection winding in the circuit according to the invention, but a constant voltage. Furthermore, the invention uses an inductance for linearizing the deflection current generated by a constant drive voltage. It is also known from FR-PS 14 30 592 a linearity correction circuit which uses two inductors, but these are not parallel to one another and in series with the deflection winding during the trace interval or a part thereof. With regard to the deflection current, one cannot speak of a series connection of an inductance with the deflection winding, since the current flowing through the inductance is independent of the deflection current itself, but rather depends on its integral occurring at a conidenser and a DC voltage supplied by a battery.
In the circuit according to the invention, there is a first section during a first section of the deflection cycle Inductance in the deflection current path, which is a constant Represents impedance. During a second section of the deflection cycle then - with deflection current reversal - A second inductance connected in parallel to the first, so that the total effective inductance is reduced. This switching of the inductance value between two different (constant) Values represents a discontinuity, i.e. a kinked characteristic curve, i. H. a non-linear inductance.
Further developments and refinements of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

The in F i g. 1 shown simplified television receiver contains an antenna 10 for receiving a Composite television signal which is fed to a receiving part 11, which includes tuner and demodulator will. The amplified luminance signal component of the signal mixture amplified by the video amplifier 12 is transmitted to the control electrode, e.g. B. the cathode, a television picture tube 13 is supplied. The synchronizing signal separation stage 14 also supplies horizontal synchronizing pulses to a phase discriminator 18, which is also supplied with a second signal that is related to the time course of operation a horizontal oscillator 19 depends. The phase discriminator 18 supplies an error voltage to the Horizontal oscillator 19, which synchronize its output signal with the horizontal synchronizing pulses. The output signal of the horizontal oscillator 19 is by means of a transformer 20 of a horizontal deflection circuit 25 supplied.
Deflection circuits of the type of deflection circuit 25 shown are detailed in US Pat. No. 3,452,244 so a brief explanation will suffice here: deflection circuit 25 includes one in both Current directions conductive deflection switch with a thyristor (controlled silicon rectifier) 29, the a diode 30 is connected in parallel. The deflection switch makes a relatively large one Storage capacitor 49 of deflection winding 31 in parallel during the deflection portion of each deflection cycle switched. Between the deflection switch and a commutation switch that is conductive in both current directions, which contains the parallel connection of a thyristor 21 and a diode 22 are a first capacitor 28 and a commutation inductance 26 is connected. The connection between the inductor 26 and the Capacitor 28 is coupled to ground via a second capacitor 27. The connection between the Commutation inductance 26 and the commutation switch 21,22 has a relatively large feed inductance 23 coupled to a voltage source β +.
Der Transformator 50 enthält feiner eine Hochspannungswicklung 50h, die Hochspannungsimpulse an eine Hochspannungsvervielfacherschaltung 52 liefert, die mitThe combination of the deflection winding 31, a linearity correction circuit 40, a circuit 45 for correcting the pincushion distortion and the capacitor 49 is connected in parallel with an output transformer 50 with a primary winding 50p. A secondary winding 50s of the transformer 50 is coupled to the phase discriminator 18 and supplies these flyback pulses for controlling the oscillator 90. The transformer 50 contains a high-voltage winding 50h which supplies high-voltage pulses to a high-voltage multiplier circuit 52, which is connected to
The low voltage side The end of the primary winding 50 is connected via a Schu.tzschait.ung, a diode 54, a resistor 55 and includes a capacitor 56 coupled to ground.
The linearity correction circuit 40 includes a self-saturating saturable reactor (reactor 42) with a one-way conductive device, e.g. B. a diode 43 is connected in series. The series connection 42 and 43 are connected in parallel to an inductance 41. The parallel connection 41-42, 43 is the Deflection winding 31 and capacitor 49 connected in series.
Now that the circuit arrangement has been described, the mode of operation of the in her included eirfindungsgemeinschaft correction circuit are included: If the deflection interval of a Deflection cycle is initiated, the current flowing in deflection winding 31 has due to the preceding Function of the circuit in which an exchange of vibration energy between the inductances 23 and 26, capacitors 27 and 28, high voltage circuit 52 and deflection winding 31 took place had its maximum value. The current flows at this point in a predetermined first Direction indicated by the arrow at symbol / 1 in FIG. 1 is specified. At this point (the one on the Return following the beginning of the actual deflection) the diode 30 closes the current path through the Deflection coils, which include the linearity correction circuit 40, the pincushion distortion correction circuit 45 and the capacitor 49 contains. Since the current flowing through the deflection winding at the beginning of the Deflection has its maximum value and drops to zero, the voltage drop across the resistor has the Deflection winding obviously its highest value and such a polarity that it is related to the voltage at the capacitor 49 added, the polarity of which is given in the circuit diagram. The one on the deflection winding effective voltage is also increased by the voltage drop across diode 30. One neglects the influences of the pincushion distortion correction circuit 45 and the linearity correction circuit 40 so has the effective deflection coil voltage at the beginning of the deflection has its maximum value and a polarity that counteracts the flow of current A. The resistance of the deflection winding is typically at about 0.4 ohms and the deflection current calculated from tip to tip is of the order of magnitude of 7 amps. At the resistance of the deflection there is a corresponding tip-to-tip resistance calculated voltage of 2.8 V, which is related to the Ablenkwickking combined applied voltage and partly caused the linearity error. The flow voltage drop at the thyristor 29 and at the diode 20 also goes into the one at the deflection Tension and contributes to the enlargement of the linearity changes.
Wenn das Ablcnkintervall beginnt, ist die Drossel 42 daher ungesättigt und stellt eine verhüllmsmllßig große Impedanz dar, so daß derShortly before the initiation of the abortion (i.e., during the last part of the return contraction) the diode 43 biased in Spcrrichtiing and thereby brought into the non-conductive state, so that they accordingly allow a current to flow through the Prevent throttle 42. When the interval begins, the choke 42 is therefore unsaturated and sets represents a veiled large impedance, so that the
Current / 1 flows primarily through inductor 41. The linearity correction circuit 40 appears during this interval as a relatively constant inductance. When the current falls 7 | after zero the voltage drop decreases and thus causes practically no linearity errors. When the middle of the Deflection is reached, / 1 has reached the value zero, the charge in capacitor 49 has its maximum value and the current goes from the diode 30 to the thyristor 29 over.
In the vicinity of the center of the deflection, which corresponds to the center of the scanned grid, the thyristor 29 is ignited by an ignition circuit 24 which receives an ignition voltage from a winding 23s of an input reactor or input transformer 23. When the second part of the deflection interval begins, capacitor 49 supplies energy to the deflection winding and the current path includes pincushion correction circuit 45, linearity correction circuit 40, deflection winding 31 and thyristor 29. The current in deflection winding 31 has during this second part of the deflection the direction indicated by the arrow at the symbol h , which is opposite to the direction of h. The voltage drop across the resistance of the deflection winding now has a direction that counteracts the voltage across the capacitor 49 and thereby reduces the effective voltage across the deflection winding as the deflection current increases. In addition, the voltage drop across the thyristor 29 also has such a polarity that the effective deflection voltage is reduced. To compensate for the asymmetrical effect of the ohmic voltage drop in the deflection winding and the different current characteristics of the thyristor 29 and the diode 20, the linearity correction circuit 40 forms a smaller total inductance during the second part of the deflection, which changes non-linearly. As the current flowing through the deflection winding increases during the second part of the deflection, the diode 43 conducts increasing amounts of current through the saturable choke 42. The choke 42 is designed to saturate itself and non-linearly during the second part of the deflection change begins, thereby changing the deflection current in the desired manner. The exact takeover point, ie the point at which the choke begins to saturate, is determined by the value of the inductance 41 and the design of the choke 42. When h increases to its maximum value towards the end of the deflection interval, the circuit 40 forms a non-linearly decreasing inductance. This change in inductance compensates for the effective decrease in the voltage ar of the deflection winding 31 as a result of the ohmic voltage drop in it. The inductance 41 can be designed to be adjustable in order to enable the linearity adjustment required for a perfect Lincaritätskorrcktur. The Linearitälskor correction circuit 40 can also change its properties, e.g. B. be modified as it is the F i g. 2 and 3 is shown.

In the case of the in FIG. The embodiment of the present linearity correction circuit illustrated in FIG. 3 is the diode 343 of the linear inductor 341 is connected in series and conducts during the first part of the deflection interval. This circuit ensures a takeover point very close to the center of the deflection, since the saturable choke 342 practically uses all of the deflection current during the second part of the deflection leads, while the throttle 42 in Fig. 1 during the second part of the deflection interval only part of the deflection current leads. The choke 342 therefore saturates early in the deflection cycle.
Eine mögliche Konstruktion der sättigbaren Drossel 42 (F i g. 1) ist in F i g. 1 als Bauelement 442 dargestellt. One possible construction of the saturable choke 42 (FIG. 1) is shown in FIG. 1 shown as component 442.

Of course, other core shapes with a closed magnetic flux path can be used.
The present invention has been explained above using a thyristor deflection circuit, but it can be also with other deflection circuits, e.g. B. Use transistor and tube circuits.
In a preferred embodiment, the inductance 41 had a value of 80 mH, while the saturable choke 42 twenty four turns of number 23 wire on a toroidal ferrite core contained. The inductance of the choke 42 was 1.1 mH with a current of 10 mA in the winding and 40 μΗ at a current of 3 A. As a diode 43, for. B. the type RCA 40 642 can be used.
