Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Stahlbandmatratze, bei welcher die Last einer auf der Matratze ruhenden Person allein durch Querfederung aufgenommen wird.
Solche Matratzen sind an und für sich nicht mehr neu, doch besteht ihnen gegenüber das Merkmal der Erfindung darin, daß die Matratze hier aus einer großen Anzahl schmaler, dicht nebeneinander angeordneter Stahlbänder besteht, die mit ihren abwärts gerichteten Enden auf an den Längsseiten des Bettrahmens angeordneten Tragfedern befestigt sind.
