Abstract
Support and adjustment system for shower basins involves use of a triangular frame with feet which are adjustable in height. The object of the system is to reduce the time taken during installation of shower basins to a minimum to facilitate and to simplify the operation making it possible for the work to be carried out by a single operator and permitting subsequent height adjustment of the basin without problems. The use of a triangular frame attains all these objectives and also ensures a final accurate height adjustment of the basin. The basin is given a firm three point support.

Claims (1)
Es zeigtBy using a tripod frame with height-adjustable feet known per se, the manual activity in the assembly of shower trays is advantageously limited to a minimum, while at the same time precise adjustment is ensured.
With reference to the figures shown in the drawings, the invention is described in more detail below using two exemplary embodiments. It shows
r i g. 2 einen Schnitt längs der Linie 1I-I1 der F i g. 1.F i g. 1 shows a first embodiment of the invention in plan view,
ri g. 2 shows a section along line 1I-I1 in FIG. 1.
The shower tray 1 rests on the tripod frame 2, which can be made of metal or plastic, and which has 3 support elements 4 at the corners. By means of the support elements 4, the frame 2 carrying the shower tray 11 can be adapted to the given irregular floor conditions and the tray 1 can thus be precisely adjusted. The in the F i g. Embodiments of the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 show mechanically actuatable support elements 4. These consist of a threaded bolt 5 and a threaded bushing 6. Either the threaded sleeve 6 or the threaded bolt 5 can be firmly connected to the tripod frame 2. A disk-like support 7 can be attached to the underside of the threaded sleeve 6 or the threaded bolt. A similar element 8 can, however, also be attached on the top, so that the tub 1 does not rest on the frame, but on these elements 8. The adjustment of the height of the tub 1 takes place in that the threaded bolt 5 or the threaded sleeve 6 is rotated in one direction or the other. Which part is rotated depends on the choice of fastening, whether the threaded sleeve 6 or the threaded bolt 5 is fastened to the tripod frame 2. In order to additionally stabilize the frame 2, the side parts 9 of the same are connected to one another via cross struts 10.
