Abstract

A single support strut for parking a bicycle has the strut connected to a folding linkage mounted on a plate fitted to the underside of the bicycle frame between the crank and the front wheel. The linkage forms a parallelogram which folds into a compact shape under the frame. In the extended position the strut positions a hinged ground support plate onto the ground near to the back end of the front wheel. This ensures a stable support for bicycles with heavy loads on a front carrier, e.g. a delivery bicycle.

Claims (19)
