Abstract

The stent (1) is assembled of several segments (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) each comprising two kinds of alternating sections. One type of section contains straight wire pieces (18, 19) bent in order form an area of parallel positioned endless wires, the second version is designed as a grid of v-shaped wires (26). Complementary hook elements (20, 21) integrated in the edges of two adjacent segments, are engaged for joining.

Claims (7)

Stent mit einem tubulären Stützgerüst (2) aus axial aufeinander folgenden untereinander verbundenen Ringsegmenten (3-16), dadurch ge­ kennzeichnet, dass zumindest zwei benachbarte Ringsegmente (6 und 7 bzw. 12 und 13) durch formschlüssig ineinandergreifende Koppel­ elemente (20, 21; 27, 28; 29, 30) verbunden sind.1.
