Dabei wandert die Federmittemarkierung, wie anhand der Absolutmarkierung ersichtlich. Daraus folgt, daß sich die Plattform in entgegengesetzter Richtung zur Federmittemarkierung bewegt. Um die Richtung zu ermitteln ist es möglich eine Apparatur wie in 2 beschrieben, zu verwenden. Hierbei befinden sich mehrere in verschiedene Richtungen ausgerichtete Kugelpaare auf einem Objekt, die in der Zeichnung nur als Striche erkennbar sind. Bei Lösen der gespannten Federn ist anhand der unterschiedlichen Federmittemarkierungsverschiebungen die Richtung des Objekts mathematisch zu ermitteln. Anstelle der Federn ist auch Duesenantrieb anwendbar.
