Abstract

A PCMCIA card clip on a wireless LAN (Local Area network) card holds the antenna with a projection (A) to hold the antenna plug in place, on the upper side and a take-up section (B) for the cable. Clip has side holders to attach it to card and is made of metal or plastic.

In vielen Anwendungsfällen bei Wireless LAN Datenübertragungen werden sogenannte PCMCIA - Karten eingesetzt. Diese Karten finden Verwendung in Notebooks sowie in sogenannten Access Points und in Adaptern für die Aufnahme von Wireless LAN PCMCIA - Karten in handelsüblichen PCs. Alle bekannten Wireless LAN - PCMCIA - Karten besitzen einen Antennen - Ausgang, in vielen Anwendungsfällen werden an diesen Ausgang Antennen angeschlossen. Diese Steckverbindung ist eine lose, leicht zu unterbrechende Verbindung z.B. bei leichter Berührung fällt der Stecker aus der Steckverbindung der PCMCIA - Karte. Der PCMCIA - Karten Clip soll eine sichere Verbindung zwischen Stecker und Antennen - Eingang der Karte sicherstellen siehe Fig.l und Fig.2.In many applications for wireless LAN data transmission, so-called PCMCIA cards are used.
